Cornerstone Bible Institute
Our Purpose
The purpose of CBI is to make formal Biblical & Theological training readily available to the people of our tri-state area, by providing a quality and comprehensive program of Biblical instruction and application.
How does the program work?
CBI is a three-year (six semester) program of study with each semester being 16 weeks long. Classes take place on Tuesday evenings, 7 - 9:30 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Students will have the choice between two program “paths”:
Diploma of Biblical Studies
This path is for students who desire to receive credit for their work in the Institute. A student must satisfactorily complete all required work and examinations.
Certificate of Attendance
This path is for students who want to receive training, but do not wish to take the examinations or complete other assignments.
Our Organization
CBI was established in 1991, and is a ministry of Cornerstone Baptist Church. The School Board of CBI is made up of Pastors and Deacons of the church.

FAQs
WhO is this for?
We have students of all ages attend. Recommended minimum age is high school, and we have had students graduate at the age of 90! You do not need to be a member of Cornerstone to attend.
Why are you asking for a $10 registration fee?
We want to make sure we have an accurate count of students before classes begin. This helps the instructors prepare. Additionally, we want to ensure that students who register are committed to the program. The $10 fee will be applied towards the first semester’s payment.
How do i pay?
Students typically bring their payment for the semester to the first class. We accept cash and check, or you may pay online.
Is there an attendance requirement?
We ask that students miss no more than 4 classes. If extenuating circumstances occur, let us know and we will do our best to work with you.
how will I make up work if i miss class?
Classes will be recorded, and content will be available online for registered students.
Can I receive college credit for this?
We are in the process of exploring a partnership with a college. Details TBD.
