Overview

Though we sing stanzas taken from them, remember vivid accounts described in them, and find quotations from them throughout the New Testament, the Minor Prophets remain an often unexamined treasure-chest in the Old Testament. This fall, our study begins walking deliberately through the entire “Book of the Twelve,” as the Scroll is sometimes called, observing God’s heart in its manifold displays of mercy, justice, wrath and compassion. Without these writings, we risk falling short of knowing God.
